Weddings

Each bride wants something different from her dress, and my job is to find out exactly what you want, what suits you best and what will make you feel really special. Every bridal gown I sew is a joy to me, I love using my creativity and skills to help you feel elegant and confident on the big day, so you can relax and enjoy being a bride. Coming up with the design together is a fun creative process, and you can choose from a wide range of styles, fabrics and laces and feel in control throughout the design process. I sew from my own home in Brighton so it is a relaxed family atmosphere to come for fittings and consultations.  Please contact me with your ideas for your dress.

Wedding of SOPHIE and PAUL
Sophie was an excited but chilled out bride, getting married to Paul, in her home country of France. Sophie only had one requirement for her dress when we met, and that was that she would be able to run in it! Together we designed a relaxed but elegant flowing dress with simple lines and a small puddle train. The Ivory silk and wool blend fabric had a lovely feel and drape to it, and kept her cool in the heat of a French summer. This beautiful dress looked amazing, and even worked paired with pumps..ready for that run!   Read Sophie’s testimonial here.

Wedding of ELIZABETH and ANDREW

Elizabeth planned a gorgeous winter wedding and wanted something warm yet elegant for her beautiful bridesmaids. Together we chose a vintage wrap dress pattern with long billowing sleeves and metres of flowing satin fabric. With one bridesmaid in Ivory and one in a rich Champagne colour they were a truly fabulous entourage for a picturesque church wedding. Read Elizabeth’s testimonial here.

Wedding of AMEE and DAN

Amee had already bought her wedding dress with a beautiful embroidered lace bodice and a layered tulle skirt. But having lost some weight, Amee needed the bodice adjusted and also wanted to change it from being a backless bodice to having tulle and lace incorporated into the back. After making the fit alterations on the dress, I made a silk back panel for Amee which was covered in a layer of tulle to match the skirt and featured a long line of ivory button fastenings down to the skirt to bring the new design together.
